What is the current status and future outlook of your company?

We are developing our business towards the global stage as we look towards our 100th founding anniversary in 2033. Currently, we are expanding the pillars of our business (materials, technology and human resources) in Asia.
With the growing demand of high quality stainless products, there is a global need for technology for these materials.
We aim to become a company where people from all over the world can work together towards our goals.

What is the retention rate of your employees?

A.

We had 7 employees over the past 3 years who left to get married so our turnover rate is 3.5% and our retention rate is 96.5%.
Our 6 new hires from April 2019 (last year) are still with us.

What is the gender ratio and average age of your employees?

A.

It varies among our branches, but in overall, 77% are male and 23% are female. The ratio for clerical positions involving sales is 57% male and 43% female. The average age is 39.86.

How is work place for new employees decided? Do you consider the wishes of the employee?

A.

The birthplace of employees will be considered in priority, but new sales hires will be assigned to our headquarters in Osaka.

Will there be transfers to other branches, including overseas?

A.

Yes, there might be transfers to overseas branches, and we will consider the wishes of the individual.

Are females able to play active roles in your company?

A.

Many of our female employees are working in clerical positions. We strive to create an environment that enables our female employees to continue working for a long time.

Will women be able to continue working even after marriage and childbirth?

A.

Yes, 15 out of 40 of our female employees are married. Among them, 12 are mothers.
3 are currently on maternity leave.
There were female employees who quit after marriage but those were mainly due to them moving far away such that it was difficult to commute to work.

Do you have any support systems for child-rearing?

A.

We are providing work arrangements such as shorter working hours, childcare leave, sick/injured childcare leave; as well as financial support such as dependent allowance.
We share mutual understanding in our workplace with regards to child-rearing, and we have male employees who is going on childcare leave.

Can I chouse commuting method to work place by myself?

A.

There might be limitations based on your workplace location generally, but employees can decide how to commute by themselves.

Q.

Are uniforms provided?

A.

Designs vary by department but uniforms will be available on loan. Additionally, helmets and safety shoes will be lent to employees who enter our factories.
